Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Overview

These terms apply to any website design, development, or hosting services provided by RevUpSites ("we," "us," "our"). By requesting a quote, making a payment, or engaging our services, you ("client") agree to the terms below.

2. Services & Scope

We build custom websites for small and local businesses based on the package selected (Starter, Standard, or Premium, as described on our Pricing page). We do not currently offer online stores, e-commerce/ordering systems, or appointment booking/scheduling systems. We do not guarantee a specific delivery date, as project timelines vary.

Work on your website begins once we have received the business details and photos you send in Step 2 of our process and have confirmed your quote with you.

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions during the initial build. Additional changes requested after the site is delivered and live are considered ongoing support (covered under our monthly plan) or a new billable request, depending on scope.

Each package (Starter, Standard, or Premium) includes the specific features listed for that package on our Pricing page. Requests for features or effects beyond what is included in the selected package will be quoted separately as an add-on, or may require upgrading to a higher-tier package. We're happy to accommodate custom requests — we'll simply confirm any additional cost with you before adding them to your project.

3. Payment Terms

The price for your website package (as listed on our Pricing page) is a one-time payment for the design and build of your site. Hosting is billed separately as a recurring $100/month charge, for as long as your site remains live.

Payments already made for work completed are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled before completion, any refund for unfinished work is at our discretion and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

If the monthly hosting payment is not received, we reserve the right to suspend or take the site offline until payment is resolved, after a reasonable notice period.

4. Hosting & Ownership

We personally host every site we build. This means we retain administrative access to hosting and server infrastructure for the sites we manage. The client owns all business content they provide (text, photos, logos, branding). If the client has purchased their own domain name, that domain remains the client's property.

You are responsible for the photos, text, logos, and other materials you send us. By sending them, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them, and you are responsible for any claims about your right to use them.

If a client discontinues services, we will make reasonable efforts to help transfer content, though hosting infrastructure and source files built specifically for our workflow may not transfer automatically.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are a small, newer web design service, not a large agency. We are not liable for lost business, revenue, or damages resulting from website downtime, third-party service outages (including hosting, domain registrars, or email providers), or issues outside our reasonable control.

We do not offer online stores, ordering, or booking/scheduling systems, and are not responsible for any client's attempt to use the site for purposes beyond what was agreed upon.

6. Termination

Either party may choose to end services at any time. If the client terminates, any unpaid balance for completed work remains due. If we terminate services, we will provide reasonable notice and make a good-faith effort to assist with an orderly transition.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our services evolve. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
