1. Information We Collect

When you request a quote (Step 1): your first and last name, phone number, email address, the type of website you want, the package you're interested in, and any extra details you choose to share. We also record the date and time of your request, that you agreed to our Terms of Service, and whether you opened the Terms link before agreeing.

When you send us your website details (Step 2): your contact details; your business name, type, description, services, location, and hours; the contact information you want shown on your website; links to your social media; any highlights, colors, example websites, or things to avoid that you tell us about; and whether you already own a domain name and what it is. Depending on your package, you may also send customer reviews you'd like shown, information about your team members, and blog topics. You can also upload photos and a logo (JPG, PNG, or WEBP files).

Technical information: to prevent spam and abuse, we briefly keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address and email address, along with timestamps, for about a day. Our website also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when you visit a page.

What we don't collect: we do not collect payment information through this website, and we do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers to monitor visitor behavior.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use what you send us to respond to your quote request, prepare your quote, communicate with you about your project, build and host your website, and provide support. We also use it to keep a record that you agreed to our Terms of Service and to protect our website from spam and abuse. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Photos, Logos & Content You Send Us

We use the photos, logo, and text you send only to build your website. We won't use them for anything else without asking you first. Because a website is public, anything we place on yours (including photos, descriptions, hours, and contact details you ask us to show) will be visible to anyone who visits it.

Your uploads are kept in a private folder on our web server that is blocked from public access. Photos you add but never submit are deleted automatically after about a week. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us. If you'd like something removed, just contact us.

4. Emails We Send You

When you request a quote, we email you a confirmation that includes a private link to Step 2. We use your email address to communicate with you about your quote and your project. Replies to our emails go to our team.

5. How We Store Your Information

Your quote request and website details are stored on our web hosting provider's servers, and the text of what you submit is also emailed to our team. Your private Step 2 link expires after 21 days and stops working once you've submitted your details. We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services and keep our business records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

6. Who Can See Your Information

Only the RevUpSites team can see what you send us. We use a few service providers to run our website and email, such as our web hosting and email provider, and they handle data on our behalf. We don't sell or rent your information, and we only share it with others if the law requires us to.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to delete, correct, or give you a copy of the personal information we have on file for you, including any photos and business details you've sent. Just contact us using the information below.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services evolve, and we'll change the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
